It has integrated Bluetooth for easy photo transfer. What’s more, this camera has WiFi for web access. It can send pictures as email attachment or upload them to online photo sharing sites. Of course, one needs to locate a Wireless access zone for that. Its QWERTY keyboard is ideal for emailing. As if Wireless features are not enough, Samsung has also packed in GPS navigation in this compact model. The technology works well in general but in areas with a lot of buildings and trees the signal reception suffers to an extent.
As a camera the ST 1000 performs on par with the other models available in the market. It has a total of 15 scene selection modes. The Face detection system works well too. The photography enthusiasts will be a tad disappointed with this model as it lacks a wide-angle zoom. However, if you are looking for a feature rich digital camera that doubles up as a web access device and navigation assistant, buy this model.
