Charlotte Lewis Alleges Roman Polanski

May 15 (PRINTWORDS NEWS)charloote Charlotte Lewis Alleges Roman Polanski Yet another skeleton has tumbled out of celebrated film director Roman Polanski’s closet. The latest allegations against him come from British actress Charlotte Lewis who claims that Roman Polanski had sexually abused her 25 years ago in Paris. Charlotte Lewis appeared in a press conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred and said that she was abused while filming for his movie ‘Pirates’.

Roman Polanski, of ‘The Pianist’ fame, already has charges against him for a sexually abusing a 13 year old girl in 1978. Charlotte Lewis said in the press conference that Roman Polanski was aware of the fact that she was just 16 years old then but still ‘forced himself’ on her in his apartment. Interestingly the word rape was avoided throughout the press conference.It is to be noted that the age of consent in France is 15, but Gloria Allred has termed this fact as irrelevant. The press conference was called at the Beverly Hills office of Gloria Allred. Gloria Allred has had her 15 minutes of fame after taking up the cases of two of Tiger Woods alleged mistresses and the family of OJ Simpson.

Charlotte Lewis who lives in London is an actress who acted alongside Eddie Murphy in ‘The Golden Child’. She has also acted in Roman Polanski’s film ‘Pirates’ during the shooting of which she was allegedly raped. She said in her statement that Roman Polanski’s behavior has had an adverse effect on her mind and she has lived with the trauma for more than 25 years now.Gloria Allred considers this an opportunity for the other victims to come out with their story.
