Aug 2 (PRINTWORDS NEWS) On Saturday, the much touted wedding affair of the former first daughter of the nation Chelsea Clinton to longtime boyfriend, banker Marc Mezvinksy took place amidst much hype. Though the wedding which was termed to be wedding of the decade/ century, was a high security affair, the media sources did manage to get their share of the scoop on the seemingly royal and extravagant event.
The daughter of the former president Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton looked her glamarous best while walking down the aisle in her ivory silk Vera Wang gown and was a pleasant sight for the sore eyes. However, fleeting rumors suggests that the near perfect look was not achieved without pain, as the famous bride had to go through a rigorous beauty regime in order to gain the much desired result. Well, she seems to have not restricted the tough routine to herself only. Reportedly, the bride made her father, the former president, also undergo a weight loss routine in order to look his best walking her down the aisle!
The proud parents of the newly wed bride released a joint statement in the evening of Saturday, stating, “Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family.”
