JUNE 5, (PRINTWORDS NEWS)-The rural Illinois authorities went back digging deep in to the case of Stacy Peterson and the remains of the dead woman. Reportedly, the authorities were following a lead on some new trail that provoked them to go ahead and dig out the remains of the dead body.
It was said that the officials are chasing a trail on a new woman who reportedly went missing in the very similar manner as that of Stacy Peterson. They plan to comb search the rest of the east of Peoria.
As a matter of fact Peterson had disappeared in the month October 2007. Her case was dealt with special attention.It was her husband Drew Peterson who happened to be a former cop was suspected both for her disappearance and also for her death. Peoria County Coroner Johanna Ingersoll said “There is a search underway for human remains, however no human remains have been located at this point”.
In reaction this attorney Joel Brodsky said that Peterson’s alibi in the case is very strong as because its already proven that his wife Stacy went away with some other guy who was never identified. “The current report about Stacy Peterson is just another in a long line of baseless allegations against Drew Peterson,” Brodsky said to the media. “Ever since Stacy’s disappeared there have been numerous rumors, gossip and reports about Drew Peterson. The one thing all of these stories have in common is that they always prove to be false and there are never any facts or evidence to back them up,” he added.
