google 300x300 Google Embraces Holography On Dennis Gabors Birthday JUNE 5, (PRINTWORDS.COM)-Google is sporting a holographic logo bearing its own name which celebrates the 110th birthday of Hungarian engineer and inventor of holography Dennis Gabor. Like every other special occasion as Christmas or New Year Google has the habit of celebrating it by putting it across in an innovative doodle. Following the same note, Google has put up a special holography based Doodle to mark the 110th birthday of the Hungarian engineer.

Holography was modified to give shape to holograms which was mainly used for products as in the mobile batteries. Holograms soon became a sign of authenticity which helped people to make out the difference between real and replica. It was way back in the year of 1964, when the first hologram was created and holography became available commercially. Dennis Gabor was the one who received Nobel Prize for his outstanding contributions in the field of Physics way back in the year of 1971. He was also the first one to have come up with the innovative concept of holography which has found several different ways of use in the long run in the recent times.

The abundant and prominent use of Holography is in 3D movies when the screen shows an object or a person to be present even though he isn’t there. Now that’s no magic but a structure carved out employing holography. In the modern world, holography is used in the movie industry especially in Hollywood, where 3D movies like Avatar are made. Matrix which happens to be a sci fi movie was the very first in the industry to have used holography in the movie.
