Marin County Fair Begins Today

July 1, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Marin County Fair starts today and the fair has a host of new attractions and will continue till five days from today. Marin County Fair has a global cultural theme and the participants can visit 25 different cooking stalls with top marine chefs and taste food in a state of the art “global kitchen”. There will also be a “global stage” where 25 multicultural performers will perform for the people. The fair authority expects more than 110,000 visitors to the fair ground from today and the following days.

“The Global Kitchen” is an unique cooking demonstration and and a tasting venue designed to introduce fair-goers to taste the lip smacking foods from around the world. This year’s actual theme is “Going Global: Connecting Cultures”. Lot of entertainments will awaits in the Marin County Fair where there are carnival rides, thousands of exhibits, animals and entertainment. The organizers have arranged for film and video festivals as well for entertaining the people.

The Marine County Fair continues to be “the greenest county fair on earth”, as it integrated green business practices and sustainable stewardship into the fair and fairgrounds. The fair has taken care of all the necessities like renewable energy, waste diversion, water conservation, energy efficiency as it is trying to offer a national model to a county fair to attract more people. The fair will have kid centric entertainment, innovative and exciting exhibits, fun rides, delightful farm animals and spectacular fireworks every night. The Marin County Fair exhibits the unity in diversity and it is expected that the fair will attract lot of crowd in these days.
