Mike Miller Offered $30 Million By Los Angeles Lakers

jim Mike Miller Offered $30 Million By Los Angeles LakersJuly 2, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Mike Miller who became a free agent from Thursday 12:01 a.m. has already had talks with three teams. As per reports, Mike Miller who completed his last season with the Washington Wizards met representatives of Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and Miami Heats. A source has revealed to media source that Mike Miller has been offered a contract of five years worth $30 million by the Los Angeles Lakers. However the player is yet to make a decision with his team preference.

Mike Miller who had enjoyed the title of being the NBA rookie of the year had played for Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, Minnesota Timberwolves and Washington Wizards. He had always been a key player in the teams he had played and last year in the Washington Wizards he made a mark with his three-pointer shots. His addition to the Los Angeles Lakers therefore will benefit the team undoubtedly.

With an average of 10.9 points along with 50 percent shooting from the field and above 40% shooting from the 3-pointer range for his team last year it seems that he would be a worthy player for the Los Angeles Lakers who have an otherwise weak outside stroke area. Some reports claim that the star player of the Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant is eager to play with Mike Miller.

While some reports claim that Mike Miller had been provided with a deadline of Thursday night to accept or reject the offer of the Los Angeles Lakers, till now nothing has been heard from the player’s side. In a recent telephonic interview Mike Miller had said to media source that he has not ruled out the consideration to return to the Washington Wizards.
