LONDON, Jan 28, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) A 43-year-old mother called Fiona Donnison went to a police station and admitted that she has killed her children. She urged the police to go and check her hatchback car. The police found the bodies of her daughter Elise who was 18 months and son Harry who was 3 in two sports bags. The woman had bruises and cuts on her wrists and upper arms which is supposed to be “self inflicted.” She was immediately rushed to a Eastbourne District General Hospital. Police are yet to question Fiona Donnison. This case was found out on Wednesday noon and the post-mortem on the bodies of the children are not yet performed.
The reason for this brutal murder is not yet determined. Reports indicate that Mrs Donnison’s mental health was being thoroughly assessed after she was taken to the hospital. It is lately found that Mrs. Donnison had lost a one month baby daughter in April 2004. She had parted with her husband Paul before Christmas and she had moved away and started living in Lightwater, Surrey. Whether these tragedies led to mental illness is not yet known. Doctors reported that she is physically stable now and is being released from hospital.
Chief Superintendent Robin Smith, of Sussex Police reported that he cannot disclose how the children died nor is it known when they died. The officers are not suspecting anyone else in connection with the murders though.
Their six-bedroom house in Heathfield was sealed off and two officers were on the guard at the entrance. The car which is a silver T-reg Nissan hatchback with a numberplate is taken away for further examination. It is reported that people are providing floral tributes to the children. The cause of the murders are not yet known.
