Los Angeles, May 12 (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Finally it seems that the judges and the viewers have reconciled and are thinking alike. On Tuesday night’s elimination round of the “Dancing with the Stars” the celebrity to bow out of the show was comedian Niecy Nash along with her dance partner Louis Van Amstel who have managed to remain in the show despite their receiving poor marks from the judges of the show continuously. However, there’s no doubt that the decision meted out by the audience against her did not impress the “Clean House” host who had all through her tenure in the show had joked about her “jiggly parts”. It seems that the audience had just enough of her “jiggly parts” and is now getting really interested in quality dancing.
On Monday night, the couples had to perform two dances on the ballroom. Niecy and her partner took the floor to perform Viennese waltz and paso double and tried to impress the judges to the fullest. However like the past episodes this time as well their attempt failed to make any great impact on the judges. Though Judge Bruno Tonioli praised the couple’s take on the waltz, for the paso double he had in store not so good comments. He said that Niecy Nash looked unsteady and marked the dance as not “very good”. The couple was endowed with 43 marks out of the total 60 for their attempt which was the least in the Monday night show.
To join the couple in the bottom two on Tuesday’s night was NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke. However, it seems that Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke had managed more fan base than Niecy Nash. After the result was declared, Niecy Nash said “I am a 40-year-old mother of three. I’ve got three C-sections under my belt…I was able to survive in this competition this long against some fantastic people — and with the fact that I cannot hula-hoop with a Cheerio.” She also thanked her partner for “molding this lump of clay into something”. That was a good gesture on her part as for the audience it seems that they are becoming more serious with the dancing part in the show.
