Omaha, June 30, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) On Tuesday night South Carolina Gamecocks became part of the history of Rosenblatt stadium as they went on to win the final College World Series 2010 of the baseball game at the stadium that was holding the baseball series for the last time. According to reports from the next year the CWS games will be held at a new stadium in the downtown Omaha. Few will disagree to the statement that the performance of both UCLA and South Carolina made the night at the Rosenblatt stadium memorable and provided the stadium with a grand farewell.
The game between the UCLA and the South Carolina teams remained indecisive till the 11th innings making the game all the more interesting. At the beginning it was South Carolina that was trailing behind and it seemed that the game will turn in favor of the UCLA team. The South Carolina had a 2-1 win over the UCLA team and held its first baseball title.
