London, Jan 3, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) For Sir Alex Ferugon, there is reasons galore to dread the impending Manchester United’s match against Leeds. Going by the fact that the match is supposed to bring face to face the two power teams in the English premier football league after a wide gap of almost as long 6 years. Knowing quite well that there lies a lot of friction and underlying tension beneath the surface that can cause the tiniest bit of flare to catch fire, the experienced ManU boss has taken to warning his boys well in advance of the mammoth clash.
It was way back in the month of February in 2004 that the two titans had met during the Premier League clash. The intoxicating match had seen the match come to an end with a bland score of 1-1 tie posted on the board.
Speaking about the eventual match, Sir Ferguson has stated, “Over the years they were fantastic and feisty occasions every time we met. There was always a tinge of hostility.” To put the icing on his statement, he topped it up with, “We always said to the players ‘make sure you behave yourselves properly on the pitch because we don’t need to add to the problems off the pitch’.”
Considering that the clash will see the two in an important round in the FA Cup, it is most certainly wise to avoid any external conflicts from most other fronts. However, it can be said that the fans are going to the most benefiting party in the entire deal. To be able to see their favorite sides involved in the head-on collision, they couldn’t have asked for more.
