The first runner up of this year’s “Britain’s Got Talent” proved to the world that she is indeed the talent that cannot remain dormant forever. Even though it took her time to arrive where she is now, she certainly is here to stay and how! That this talented singer can cause a few worry lines to quite a few of the reigning singing divas and attempt a coup over the top slot is a fast emerging fact.

Happy with the way her music career is shaping up, Boyle is one lucky person to have received a second chance- which is a rarity in the field that she will call her profession now on. For, an honest confession from Simon Cowell had revealed that when he had first seen the singer appear on the stage of the talent show, he had taken it for a fact that she is just going to prove to be a source of entertainment for all. How he was proved wrong! Not only did she transform into a musical enigma but also became an overnight music sensation over the Internet, taking the world by storm with her arrival. Her performance had almost transported all to a trance like state, when she belted out “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables. Since then she has most certainly fledged from the proverbial “duckling” in to the alluring swan, who is enthralling the world with her voice.

If the sales of her debut album is anything to go by, Boyle is already headed for the stars. One can safely bet now that Simon Cowell would be mighty pleased with the singer’s talent and also, “money- fetching” skills. “I Dreamed A Dream” has already catapulted the singing sensation in to the realms of stardom that she had marked for herself when she had sung the song of the same title during her maiden performance in “Britain’s Got Talent.” The 48 year old sold as many as 701,000 copies in the first week since hitting the music charts and already coveted the top slot on the US charts. Her album sales has already recorded an astounding five million pounds mark.

What is more, the melodious crooner’s voice has also reached the bounds of the White House, with the result that Susan Boyle has been requested by the American President and his family, to hold a performance in the White House premises. Looks like the US First Family is also taken in by the phenomenon known as Susan Boyle. The occasion of Boyle’s performance will mark the celebration of the First Lady, Michelle Obama’s 46th birthday. The event has been tentatively scheduled on the January 17th and what will make it all the more special is the fact that just three days later, it would be the first anniversary of The President taking up office. An inside source stated, “I would expect that a formal invitation will be made to Miss Boyle in the very near future. The President and First Lady absolutely love her voice and will be delighted if she agrees.”

If all goes well, Susan Boyle would be soon on her way to perform for the Obamas at the white House.
