FEB 9 (PRINTWORDS NEWS): Premiered at midnight, the single release from the album “Year of the Black Rainbow” by Claudio Sanchez and Travis Stever of Coheed and Cambria will ultimately hit the music shelf on April 13th, 2010. Music lovers are pinning their hopes on the band’s fith studio release. The 31 sec preview of the 3:53 minute total song has been liked by the music listeners.
The album, “Year of the Black Rainbow” has in it twelve tracks and though the band claims that the music pattern is similar to their previous ones, there are still many things to watch out for and to listen to. The album will be released by Columbia and will be available in both standard format and delux format. The delux format will include a novel with the same name ”Year of the Black Rainbow” written by Peter David who is a NY Times bestselling author.
The album is produced by Atticus Ross and Joe Baressi. Also we will get to see the bands new face, the new drummer Chris Pennie. He has been playing along with guitarist Travis Stever and was seen in Neverender.
You can get a look of the midnight premier at the band’s own website. There is also provision for placing advance order for the album which will release on 13th April 2010. This time the band has also brought out a “Making Of” DVD, which contains interveiws of the band members along with studio footages. You can be lucky enough to end up getting the band’s black card which will allow you to view their shows and public performances for free.
