LONDON, Dec. 16, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Snowy terrains decked up with Christmas lights and decorations and peppered with snowman sculptors here and there. Sounds like fun? Well then here’s your wish being fulfilled for certain this year. For all those people who were in the frame of mind to embrace a snowy Christmas, the weatherman appears to have taken heed of your ardent plea. Your boon has been granted. For, what can be made of the weather reports fast circulating all over, it is seemingly going to be one white snowy Christmas this year. Time for all the true enthusiast to take those winter gear out, don them and head out for a frolic in the snow covered outdoors.
Forecasters have predicted a below freezing temperature for the whole of this week, with the sudden bouts of light to heavy snowfall. From the warning bells that have been sounded by the authorities, it is evident that the temperature can dip as low as minus two Celsius (28F) in some or most parts of central or southern reaches of the English frontier. Throughout the entire stretch of the week, cold and bitingly chilly winds will be blowing over the wide expanse of the country, that might also result in ushering light bouts of snow showers in the eastern parts of England and Scotland.
Whether this is any continuation of the extreme weather conditions that had been prevailing over the wide reaches of the English lands some weeks back is not yet very clear. As of now, as much as four inches of snow lies covering the land in most parts of England. However, one point here in consideration is the fact that some developing facts on the weather front seem to indicate that the extreme weather conditions might run to a standstill towards the end of the week, in the days leading to Christmas. So, maybe it will not exactly be a white Christmas after all. What has been stated is that the English regions maybe headed for milder climatic conditions, which might turn the snow to rain. Nevertheless, cold it will be- almost biting cold.
For the merrymakers however, there is always joy in the hope of all the odds turning in their favour for witnessing the first white Christmas in about 5 years time duration. With being just days away from Christmas, people are all ready to jingle all the way with their Santa gears all out and ready in celebration to welcome the snow for now.
