(PRINTWORDS NEWS) Since January 2003, Stacy London and Clinton Kelly have been preaching ‘What Not To Wear‘ to the people. But the show itself shifts to Tuesday evening from its original Friday night slot. Hope the content will not shift. “Personality and talent of fashion experts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly” have been converting the participants of the show “from dowdy to dashing”. That is the reason why the show is one of the most viewed shows on the television, 1.3 million viewers watches the show per week.
Stacy London and Clinton Kelly are not the only gurus in this mission. Hair stylist Ted Gibson and makeup artist Carmindy add the finishing touches that complete the change. Eventually it is the first time when the show has to reside on another day’s slot except its original Friday slot. It is also revealed that today’s show will bring change to the life of a law student who can double as a pole dancer. Before the shifting of the schedule, the fashion duo revealed some fashion tips and warned ‘What Not To Wear’ during the festive season.
Kelly warns her viewers not to become over the top on the Christmas. “Be careful of cliché colors like bright red and green — it’s not sophisticated,” warns Kelly. She also expects her listeners to carry a classy clutch and jewellery along with her female fans. For men, London suggests to go for prints with “a brightly striped tie and pocket square”. But on the new year’s eve they want everyone to go nuts. “Go ahead and dress like the New Year’s Eve disco ball — it’s OK,” Kelly expresses. London adds to her, “There are three times to go all out: New Year’s Eve, Halloween and when you’re in Vegas. Be celebratory!”
