(PRINTWORDS NEWS) On Wednesday night, the Tea party favorite Christine O’Donnell walked out of late night talk show “Piers Morgan Tonight” when the host asked her about her views on gay marriage. When the host Piers Morgan asked her about her views about gay marriage and sexual abstinence, the former Delaware U. S. Senate candidate she would not speak about politics, as she is not comfortable with it.
Christine O’Donnell appeared on the chat show to promote her book “Troublemaker: Let’s Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again” and said, “Right now, what I’m trying to do is promote a book that I hope to be a very inspirational story to people who are a part of the Tea Party movement”.
However, the talk show host said that this issue has been addressed in the Republican Party politician’s own book as well as the Tea Party principles are mentioned there. He said that he feels Christine O’Donnell is acting “weird”.
In reply to the statement, the Tea Party sweetheart said that she agreed to give her gracious presence on the show to speak about her party’s principles and she feels Piers Morgan is rude with her. When the chat show host asked her about the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy she replied that she did not turn up to the show to endure.
Just after sometime, Christine O’Donnell refused to answer anything and walked away from the interview.
After the incident Piers Morgan took to the homepage of his social networking site, where he maintained that Christine O’Donnell was not happy about his questions on sex and witchcraft. The talk show host also added that this was for the first time anybody walked out of his interviews in 25 years of his careers. In the end, he stated, “I guess viewers can decide if I was ‘rude’ or not tonight”.
