The eyewitnesses said that the troubled actor was immediately rushed to the hospital on a possible suicide attempt. A reputed gossip portal came up with the news that the suave actor is believed to have taken pills on Tuesday evening.

A reputed celebrity and news journal reported that London Ambulance Service called the police officers after the actor refused treatment. The actor was then rushed to the hospital. The actor, reportedly, left the hospital himself in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. Though the gossip sources claimed that Jonathan Rhys Meyers tried to take his own life swallowing pills but a source close to the actor said that it was not a suicide attempt.
