It therefore hardly comes as a bolt from the blue that the Spice-Girl turned fashion designer has been approached by Kate Middleton, who has shown significant interest in her range. The British royal bride-to-be is said to have been highly impressed with Victoria’s collection and has reportedly, requested the former pop star to send her some of her dresses. With Kate, 29 gearing up to step into the royal life after tying the knot with Prince William in April, it seems that she might have picked up the former Spice Girl star to be her royal designer.
The fact that Victoria is most likely to dress the royal bride-to-be, was confirmed by the ex-Spice Girl star herself at the New York Fashion Week where her autumn/winter collection was unveiled over the weekend. While talking to reporters, Posh Spice said, “Apparently, she likes my clothes and has asked to see a selection.” At the same time, the former pop star also added that dressing up Kate would indeed be a honor for her while adding, “I admire her tremendously. She’s a beautiful young girl, and she wears clothes beautifully.” Victoria also hinted that Prince William’s fiancee has all that it takes to carry herself as a ‘perfectly stylish princess.’
However, Prince William’s ladylove is not the only celebrity who has become a fan of the Posh Spice’s clothing collection. Hollywood stars such as Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle Macpherson, among others have been admirers of Victoria’s designing skills for years.
