Mexican actress Salma Hayek credits her thick dark hair to her grandmother who was a beautician and made potions for government officials and their wives. She says when she was younger, her grandmother would put eggs on her hair and even shaved it to help it grow luxuriant.
Hayek, 44, says, “She started working on my skin when I was 12 or 13. I never used soap on my face. Once, she shaved our heads and put egg on it and all these things.
The actress also mentioned that getting older has made her more comfortable with her body and sexuality although she wishes she had the same comfort and confidence when she was younger.
