Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has involved all its hi-tech equipment Santa Tracker as he travels the globe delivering Christmas gifts. It has become an instant hit and an Internet sensation with already two billion hits.

Desmond James, a public affairs officer of NORAD. Eventually NORAD is also responsible for defending the US and Canada from invading nuclear missiles. The progress of Santa can also be tracked with three dimensional “Father Christmas Cams” this year. Google is using its mapping service to give up-to-the-date analysis on where he is. You can even stream video of Santa’s journey for the first time this year.
Santa generally starts his journey from his North Pole base. Santa usually visits the South Pacific first and then comes to the west. “But keep in mind, Santa’s route can be affected by weather, so it’s really unpredictable,” a NORAD spokesman said.
The spokesperson added, “NORAD tracks Father Christmas, but only Father Christmas knows his route, which means we cannot predict where and when he will arrive at your house.”
