(PRINTWORDS NEWS)- Sharp has packed in a lot of features in its LC-60LE835U LCD HDTV. It is a LED backlit ultra slim LCD TV with a huge 60 inch screen. It falls in the company’s Quattron range and comes with web apps and a 240Hz refresh rate. The TV also features a number of energy saving technologies.
The set is slim and stylish all right but it does not scream style. The huge 60 inch screen is surrounded by a thin glossy bezel. The base allows you to tilt the TV to an extent to get the right viewing angle.
The base does not feel sturdy but you are most likely to mount the TV on your wall. There are plenty of connectivity options starting from 4 HDMI to 2 USB ports. There is an Ethernet port in the TV as well. The long slim remote controller is easy to use even for the novices.
The on screen menu is not as cool as you would find in some rival TV models. The TV offers access to a number of Web apps but they are quite basic compared to other HDTV sets. You do get access to popular apps like Netflix, Facebook and Twitter.
The Sharp LC-60LE835U produces natural looking sharp images and vivid colors. The Black level reproduction is also excellent for a LED LCD screen. You can adjust the refresh rate of the screen from 240Hz to 120 Hz or the standard 60Hz.
Signal up conversion is also handled admirably by this TV. The 3D performance of this TV is also great and the glasses provided are quite heavy.
