Samsung the Korean technology giant has some entry level mobile phones that can be recharged using solar power. In fact the number of solar powered and hybrid power devices is rising with time. Using such devices at your home can cut down on electricity consumption to a large extent.
You may also consider buying hybrid or electric cars for your commuting needs, Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf are selling very well and they serve well as mid sized family cars. The other companies are expected to release their electric and hybrid car models soon
